Roberta Rohr Robbie has worked in the nonprofit and public sectors in positions of leadership for over 25 years. She is the former executive director and founder of Executive Alliance (now Alliance of Nonprofits), a membership association whose mission is to advance a powerful nonprofit sector. She previously worked as executive director of Center for Human Services, Deaconess Children’s Services and Residence East, as well as leading the Office of Children’s Affairs in Snohomish and Clatsop Counties. Most recently, Robbie has been consulting with organizations helping them to fully envision their potential and strategize to fulfill it. Robbie has held significant board leadership positions in the areas of social justice, domestic violence, mental health and LGBT organizing. She has served on the Seattle University’s Masters of Non Profit Leadership Visiting Committee as well as served as Treasurer of Hedgebrook, a women writer’s retreat. |

Caitlin Ames Caitlin Ames is the Lifeline Coordinator for Cancer Lifeline. She is responsible for the day-to-day success of our 24-hour support line, including recruitment, training, and supervision of staff and volunteers. She also assists with a variety of emotional support programs and coordinates the therapist referral database. Caitlin holds a master’s degree in clinical psychology and is currently working toward her doctorate in clinical psychology. She is completing a neuropsychology concentration which she hopes to use in working with children and families facing cancer. Caitlin loves staying active by playing tennis, skiing in the winter, and running with her great dane Bentley. |

Amanda Boyle Amanda comes to Cancer Lifeline from the Pacific Science Center as a development coordinator. Her background also includes development roles at the Swedish Cultural Center, Sophia Way Women’s Shelter and Seattle Parks and Recreation. Amanda has a BA in Journalism, is the captain of her Ultimate Frisbee team, loves the Washington outdoors, and is a member of NDOA (Northwest Development Officer Assoc.) |

Kate is the financial navigator at Cancer Lifeline and administers the Susan G. Komen Patient Assistance Fund as well as the Cancer Lifeline Patient Assistance Fund. She recently moved to Seattle from Fort Collins, Colorado after obtaining her bachelor’s of Social Work from Colorado State University. She has lived in many different parts of the world including South Korea and Europe and has a passion for traveling. She is a self-proclaimed bookworm but also takes pleasure in cycling, going to see her favorite bands play live, exploring new parts of the city, and hiking the Cascades. She lives in Ballard with her orange cat, Cashew. |

Basha Brownstein Basha came to Cancer Lifeline in 1998 to develop the Healing Arts Program that is so successful today. She continues to inspire the artist in all of us as she manages Cancer Lifeline programs at the Dorothy S. O'Brien Center and Northwest Hospital. Before Cancer Lifeline, Basha worked with public housing tenants, the homeless and senior citizens and was the Director of the Street Life Gallery. Basha lives in Seattle with her feline friends Sebastian and McCavity. |

Tina Burrows Tina Burrows is the Program Coordinator for Evergreen Hospital Medical Center and Valley Medical Center. Tina has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Washington where she studied Women Studies and Human Rights. She has a wide variety of experience including her work as a Crisis Intervention Specialist at YWCA Angeline’s Center for Homeless Women and with the Crisis Clinic as the Disability Program Specialist and Information and Referral Specialist. Tina loves to travel and has had the good fortune to experience places such as Italy, South Africa and Mexico. She also enjoys baking, reading, and playing with her two miniature dachshunds Gary and Bailey. Tina currently lives in Shoreline with her Fiancé and their dogs. |

Michelle Hewitt Michelle wears many hats at Cancer Lifeline. As a Operations Manager, she is responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the Dorothy S. O'Brien Center. She also works in the program department by contributing to the creation of the class catalog, collecting feedback about our programs and maintaining our program’s database. Michelle previously worked as an accountant in an office with both for profit and non-profit clients. Michelle lives in Edmonds with her husband and daughter. |

Tonya Hewitt Tonya Hewitt is a part-time Database Coordinator in the development department. Tonya moved into the database role after providing administrative support at the front desk. This is the perfect role for Tonya who is in school full-time and has the patience and knowledge to work with databases. When she’s not studying, Tonya can be found practicing her baking and photography. |

Andrea Johnson Andrea comes to Cancer Lifeline with over 13 years of experience at all levels of fundraising, events, public relations, and communications management. As Development Director, Andrea is responsible for stewardship, cultivation and solicitation of donors, oversight of grant activities and the annual luncheon. Andrea has worked with non-profits in both arts and human services and most recently was the Director of Development of Jubilee Women's Center, transitional housing for homeless women. Andrea is an alumna of the WSU Edward R. Murrow College of Communications and sits on the King County Women's Advisory Board. |

Peggy McMillen Peggy is happy to return to her same position she held several years ago. She provides administrative support in the areas of finance and payroll. Previously Peggy was a real estate appraiser and managed a local commercial real estate office. She and her husband raised their sons in Lake Tahoe and are now enjoying the delight of grandchildren and traveling to different cultures. Peggy enjoys reading, cooking, gardening and playing outside. |

Meera Mittal Meera’s responsibilities include providing emotional support through the Lifeline program and providing administrative support to Cancer Lifeline’s other emotional support services. Meera also provides part-time support as a patient financial navigator. She has a bachelor’s in Social Work and has had recent experience working in residential services with the developmentally disabled and previously homeless populations in Colorado where she has recently relocated from. Besides having a passion for helping people, Meera enjoys dancing, cooking, reading, painting, traveling and almost any outdoor activity. |

Patty Moe Patty’s responsibilities are related to the finances of Cancer Lifeline. She is a Certified Public Accountant who has focused on the non-profit accounting field throughout her career as an accountant. Patty is a graduate of the University of Washington. |

Lena Seino Lena is Cancer Lifeline’s Community Relations Intern and is a graduate from the WSU Edward R. Murrow College of Communications. Lena is currently enrolled as a Graduate student at the UW working on her Master's in Public Health. She is excited to blend her education in public relations with passion for public health. Lena is an avid traveler and has lived in three countries. |

Mary Ellen Shands, RN, MN Mary Ellen coordinates the support group program, and facilitates Family, Parenting and Share the Care Meetings. Mary Ellen also provides Workplace Consultations. In addition to her work at Cancer Lifeline, Mary Ellen is a member of the Family Functioning Research Program at the University of Washington School of Nursing since 1987 studying the impact of cancer on families. Mary Ellen and her husband live with their two children in Lake Forest Park. |

Joseph Yurgevich Joseph has primary responsibility for Cancer Lifeline’s hospital and other site-based programs as well as oversight of Program Operations including registration, data-tracking and outreach/marketing/pr. Joseph also oversees the Lifeline and Financial Navigation programs. His other responsibilities include programming classes and acting as site manager for Cancer Lifeline at Evergreen Hospital Medical Center and Cancer Lifeline at Valley Medical Center. Joseph previously worked managing programs at Bastyr University's Natural Health Clinic for nine years and as a volunteer for Lifelong AIDS Alliance. He is a licensed massage therapist, loves music, movies and his dogs Buddy and Lulu. |
