Ways You Can Help
Cancer Lifeline has a variety
of ways that you can make a positive difference in the lives of people living
with cancer. These ways most commonly involve donation or volunteering.
Donation Programs
We are always happy to receive the gift of cash.
You have the choice of mailing a check,
calling in a pledge, or by using our quick and secure, on-line
donation form.
Please visit our donations page for additional
methods of donating funds.
In-Kind Donations
Cancer Lifeline accepts donated goods and services that must otherwise
be purchased. Individuals and area businesses donate in-kind products
ranging from office equipment and supplies, gift certificates for food
and merchandise, as well as donations of professional services. Please
contact Bruce Wood at
if you have goods or services that will benefit Cancer Lifeline.
Volunteering
Volunteers are an integral part of our program. Volunteers staff the 24-hour
Lifeline, assist in center administrative tasks as well as with fund
raising events. Volunteers also provide a wide range of specialized talents
and skills. We depend on their energy and enthusiasm. We invite you to
become a volunteer!
As a nonprofit organization,
Cancer Lifeline ensures your tax-deductible contribution is used for its
designated purpose. We publish an annual report as well as post it on our
web site.
