We believe that cancer patients are survivors from the moment of diagnosis.  Patients, their families, friends, co-workers and caregivers are all people living with cancer. 

Our services address four primary needs identified by 30 years of careful listening to callers on the 24 hour help and support line.

• Opportunities to express feelings and emotions without being judged
• Inclusion rather than isolation

We also believe that the emotional, spiritual, and mental components of health are as important as the physical. We value listening to the needs of our clients and creating excellent services to meet those needs. All services are free of charge.
Last year Cancer Lifeline had over 10,000 contacts in Washington State. We did it by helping one client at a time.
