The Komen Patient Assistance Fund

The Komen Patient Assistance Fund at Cancer Lifeline
(formerly known as the Komen Safety Net Fund)

Cancer Lifeline is happy to partner with Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation—Puget Sound Affiliate to provide financial assistance to low-income women in treatment for breast cancer. To be eligible in 2008, patients must be:

  • under 250% of poverty
  • within a 3-month window of active treatment for breast cancer
  • live or be treated in Clallam, Grays Harbor, Island, Jefferson, King, Kitsap, Lewis, Mason, Pacific, Pierce, San Juan, Skagit, Snohomish, Thurston, Wahkiakum or Whatcom County

Financial assistance is available for a variety of daily needs, including rent/mortgage, utilities, food, health insurance/COBRA payments and lymphedema garments.  You'll find more details in the links below. 

To apply for financial assistance from the Fund, please contact a social worker or healthcare worker to work with you to complete the application form below:
