Lobby Art Shows
The entry lobby and stairwell of the Dorothy S. O'Brien Center was designed as a showcase for art produced in the Healing Arts for Creative Expression program.
Several art themes are introduced each year that feature the work of artists whose lives have been touched by cancer. The shows display work from both seasoned artists and those discovering their creativity for the first time.
Their stories, in images and words, offer gifts of hope, transformation and celebration. The community of artists represented in the show often extends well beyond the Seattle area and includes contributors from other states.
The public is invited to visit these art shows and experience the healing power of art.
