Cancer Lifeline's Tenth Annual Luncheon

10th Annual Luncheon

Luncheon Graphic 3

The 10th Annual Luncheon was a tremendous success! Over 600 community members came out to support our mission and the event has already exceeded our goal, raising over $260,000!

Emceed by Enrique Cerna with KCTS 9, the event showcased Cancer Lifeline’s support services for all people living with cancer. Keynote speaker, author and former President of Starbucks International Coffee Co., Howard Behar spoke passionately about how it’s not about the cancer, or the stuff in our lives – it’s about the people and our relationships.

Client and volunteer Terri Dilts spoke about her metastatic breast cancer journey of nearly a decade. She spoke of how she has become a patient patient; how she can speak “cancer” fluently and how she helped launch a support group at Cancer Lifeline for women with advanced cancer.

A video produced by 501 Videos highlighted client stories and how our financial navigation program can help cancer patients navigate through their cancer experience. The lobby of the Westin ballroom showcased beautiful portraits of members of the advanced cancer support group by Brian Williams with BK Photography. We hope you have enjoyed the photos of the event thanks to photographer Jeffrey Fong.

We thank our sponsors, our speakers, volunteers and guests for their continued support of Cancer Lifeline.
