11th Annual Benefit Luncheon
Thursday, March 24th at noon, The Westin Seattle
Emceed by Enrique Cerna with KCTS Connects and
Special Guest Speaker Molly Wizenberg

On Thursday, March 24, 2011 Cancer Lifeline will host its 11th Annual Benefit Luncheon to support the operation of its free support services for all people affected by cancer. Cancer Lifeline is the Puget Sound’s leader in providing free emotional support services to all individuals affected by cancer.
Since 1973, Cancer Lifeline has been privately funded, relying solely on community support. You make it possible for us to continue providing assistance to all people living with cancer. With your help, Cancer Lifeline can continue to provide free support services.
We are honored to have Molly Wizenberg share her passion for food, community, and her personal experience with cancer at the Luncheon. Molly Wizenberg is a prominent blogger (http://orangette.blogspot.com/), author, restaurateur (http://delanceyseattle.com/) and columnist for Bon Appétit magazine. Her book, A Homemade Life: Stories and Recipes from My Kitchen Table, chronicles Molly’s personal experience of her father’s cancer, the emotional effect it hand on her and her culinary journey of healing.
Please join us on Thursday, March 24th at our signature event which raises financial support for our mission of optimizing the quality of life for all people living with cancer. Last year, more than 600 distinguished business and community leaders from throughout the greater Seattle area attended.
