Support groups: Living with Cancer
Have you or a loved one been diagnosed with cancer? Would it be helpful for you to talk with others who have similar experiences? If so, we hope you consider joining a support group at Cancer Lifeline.
Our Living with Cancer support group is designed specifically for patients, survivors, family members and friends who are living with any type of cancer.
The Living with Cancer support group provides an opportunity to be among people who can offer extra support when expressing thoughts and emotions that come up in the cancer experience. Because cancer is personal, our support groups provide a personal supportive experience with those who are also on this journey.
“Finding this group turned my life around from one of despair and fear to one of hope and joy.” ~ Support Group Participant
The Living with Cancer support group meets at all Cancer Lifeline partner hospital locations including:
- Evergreen Hospital in Kirkland: 2nd Thursdays, 7-8:30 pm
- Valley Medical Center in Renton: 2nd and 4th Mondays, 7-8:30 pm
- Northwest Hospital in Seattle: 4th Thursdays, 7-8:30 pm
