Nutrition

Cancer treatment makes eating a daily challenge for many patients, and a cancer diagnosis provides the motivation to improve nutrition for many patients, survivors, caregivers, family, friends and co-workers. Cancer Lifeline offers a cookbook and nutrition classes based on the latest food science to promote health during and after treatment.

The Cancer Lifeline Cookbook: This lovely book is full of delicious, healthy recipes, guides for eating healthy (e.g., The 10 Super Foods) and tips for addressing the side effects of cancer treatment.

Following is a sampling of Cancer Lifeline’s nutrition classes:

  • Cancer & Nutrition 101 & 102
  • Power Up Your Immune System
  • Sugar and Cancer
  • Supplements, Herbs and Cancer
  • Managing Weight Gain or Loss During Cancer Treatment
