“The Cancer Lifeline Cookbook” Gets Rave Reviews

Patients, Survivors, Caregivers and Healthy Eaters Love it!

Cancer Lifeline’s cookbook has generated lots of excitement with its gorgeous photographs, 100 easy-to-make recipes, and contributions from the nation’s top chefs.

The cookbook features some of the latest research about the connection between food and cancer. It also includes the “Top Ten Super Foods” that may protect and fight against cancer. The up-to-date nutritional information is the result of author and nutritionist Kimberly Mathai’s extensive research. The cookbook was reviewed by a respected group of Northwest physicians and cancer treatment specialists who were advisors to the cookbook project. Ginny Smith was principal writer and co-author.

“The cookbook is designed for anyone interested in a health conscious diet,” says Mathai. “It’s about optimizing wellness.” Empowering patients, caregivers and others to create healthful and nutritional meals is the focus of the Cancer Lifeline cookbook.

Cancer Lifeline has cookbooks available at our Seattle and Bellevue locations for a $20.00 suggested donation. Stop in to get your copy, visit us, and tour the center. Or call us at 206/297-2100 to charge your purchase (shipping charges will apply). Publisher, Sasquatch Books, distributes “The Cancer Lifeline Cookbook” nationwide, so you’ll find it in local bookstores as well as at Amazon.com.
