Volunteering at Cancer Lifeline

Barbara Frederick honors Regen Dennis for volunteer work on Healing Gardens   Volunteers with construction skills

Volunteers are the vital to Cancer Lifeline's commitment to meet the demand for our services. When you volunteer here with Cancer Lifeline, you make a difference.

Administrative and Special Project Volunteers

Cancer Lifeline always needs volunteers to help run our programs and do behind-the-scenes work. Volunteers help us keep the information in our database up to date, prepare mailings, greet visitors, design brochures, and have even created a video for our luncheon. What are the skills and talents that you'd like to use to help us provide free supportive services for people living with cancer? One-time and ongoing volunteer opportunities available. For more information contact Nancy Cohen at (206) 832-1274.

Fundraising Volunteers

Cancer Lifeline holds two major fundraisers every year and volunteers are needed to help make the events successful and memorable. In the spring, our Faces of Caregiving Awards Luncheon honors individuals in the community for their outstanding support and care given to cancer patients. And in the fall, we put on a charity golf tournament and dinner for those wanting to play a round and contribute in this manner. We need enthusiastic volunteers to help with both of these events. For more information contact Bruce Wood at (206) 832-1272.
